6:41.74 FORD MUSTANG GTD (EVO) NÜRBURGRING LAP Record Attempt, Outside footage & Timing!

Hi everyone,
Welcome back to a brand new video from the Nürburgring, this time with the outside footage & timing we managed to capture last night (24.03.2026) when Ford Performance had exclusively rented the track for another record attempt with an even more extreme Ford Mustang GTD (EVO?). Compared to the test mule from last year, the car now has aero disks on the rear and it seems to have even more power (also smells different so I reckon they are using some sort of high octane fuel). Could it be a potential EVO version? Let me know your thoughts below!

There were two cars, the blue one did not have OPF filters so presumably thats the US version.
Black GTD (EU spec) First Lap: 6:42.82
Second lap: 6:41.74
Blue GTD (US spec) 6:45.71
The timing could be off by 1 second plus or minus due to the start/finish line being out of sight.
