Back in 2019 Audi unveiled the Audi R8 LMS GT2 as a customer race car. With 470 kW (640 hp), the Audi R8 LMS GT2 is by far the most powerful sports car in the history of the customer sports programme. Power is coming from the 5,2-liter V10.
The Audi Scherer Sport group and Abt-Sportsline are now developing a road-legal limited edition of this model. A first test car has now been caught testing at the Nürburgring with Audi race driver Frank Stippler behind the wheel. Unfortunately the track conditions were very wet, but the GT2 sound is still unbelievable.
